Ankit Kumar- Head Coach
Ankit is the Head Coach for Spuddy who has been the Gurgaon District Champion for the last 7 years in a row. At the State level, he has played the quarterfinal in the senior category of Haryana State. He is a bronze medalist in the MDU Inter College Championship. With a coaching experience of 5 years, Ankit is a Certified A grade coach from NIS (Aurangabad) where he topped his batch in 2016. He has also done a BWF Shuttle Time Programme. He is also the technical advisor for the Gurgaon District Badminton Association. Ankit has done B.Ped and M.Ped as well. Currently, he is heading the coaching at Spuddy and is also the Badminton Coach at Shiv Nadar School in Gurgaon. Having years of experience in badminton, Ankit aims at teaching children all the minutest technicalities of badminton and getting them to play at the higher levels.
Mohit Kumar- Technical Advisor
Growing up in a family where only sports were discussed, Mohit has always had a passion for all sports. His father has been an inspiration from early childhood. Mohit has played badminton from the District to up to the university level. He has also completed a coaching programme at NIS Bangalore where he topped his batch in 2016. He has een helping his father run a sports equipment shop in Gurgaon for the last 7 years. As the technical advisor for Spuddy, Mohit helps the team in all equipment related queries as well as advising the team on other technical issues.
Deepak Agrawal- Assistant Coach
Deepak has been coaching for a year in Gurgaon where he taught children of all age groups. He has done the BWF Shuttle Time Programme. Deepak has been the semi finalist in the Bulandshahar District Championship in 2014. He has also won the 3rd position in the State Games at BTEUP in 2013. He was the runner up of the Gurgaon District Badminton Championship in 2017. Deepak assists the team to help us give children more exposure and teach them the game to develop further interest among the children.
Nitish Kushwaha- Assistant Coach
Nitish has been playing from Delhi state for the past 2 years. He has been a former trainee at the MV Bisht Badminton Academy at Siri Fort in Delhi. He has also been coaching there for a year. Nitish has played theNatioanls representing Delhi in 2015 at the junior level. As an assistant coach with Spuddy, Nitish aims at training children using his years of experience in the sport. He also wants to teach the younger age groups in a manner that they can reach the national circuit within a few years of them playing.
Dilpreet Kamboj- Student Coach
Dilpreet is a student at Spuddy. He helps in coaching as well. Dilpreet has played at the national level. He is a gold Medallist in mens singles mission Olympic Association of India Federation in 2017. A former trainee at the PrakashPadukone Badminton Academy in Bangalore, he has an interest in coaching children of all ages. He is always willing to impart knowledge that the sport has given him among other children as well.
